Dallas Comic Con came and went last weekend, bringing 8,000 to 10,000 comic and genre fans to the Irving Convention Center. Giving them a chance to meet some industry greats like Stan Lee, Leonard Nimoy, and Carrie Fisher. Fans were also treated to some great Q&A’s and the great Leonard Nimoy put on a fantastic presentation, sharing photos and stories of his journey from Boston to Star Trek! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there’s something for everyone at these events. If you love comic art, there’s tons of artist willing to draw you something to your liking, or you can purchase a really cool print. There’s also tons of freebies to be had in the freebie room worth the price of admission alone! The next local Official Pix event is Star Wars Fan Days in October!
